I am glad that my first visit to Kerala as President of India has brought me to Kochi to award the President’s Colour to INS Dronacharya, a premier Gunnery training establishment of the Indian Navy.

As the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces, I am happy to present the President’s Colour to INS Dronacharya, in recognition of the exceptional service rendered to the nation, both in war and peace.

I congratulate all personnel for their impressive turnout and well-coordinated drill today. This is a reflection of the high standards of training being imparted to you all.

I am pleased to join you at the inaugural ceremony of the International Engineering and Technology Fair 2023. I am delighted to note that IETF is celebrating the Silver Jubilee Edition of the biennial event which has covered an interesting path since its beginning in 1975.

I extend my heartiest congratulations to each one of you on your selection to the government services.

You have reached a significant personal milestone with your selection into the distinguished services. It is important that you keep in mind the greater objectives and opportunities that lie ahead of you.

It gives me immense pleasure to meet the young civil servants today. You will be playing a major role in the government’s revenue administration and financial management system. You all have worked hard to enter these prestigious services and I congratulate you for your achievement.

This ‘Azadi ka Amrit Kaal’ assimilates the pride of thousands of years of our glorious past, the inspirations of Indian freedom struggle and India’s resolve for a golden future.

On the eve of the 74th Republic Day, I extend my heartiest greetings to every Indian, at home and abroad. From the day the Constitution came into effect to the present day, it has been an amazing journey that has inspired many other nations. Every citizen has reason to be proud of the Indian Story. When we celebrate the Republic Day, we celebrate what we have achieved, together, as a nation.

I am delighted to be present at the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention and deliver the valedictory address. I am very pleased to meet you all personally, especially because this Convention is being held physically after a long interval of four years. I take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and productive new year.

I am delighted to address you on the seventh edition of the Digital India Awards which is an occasion to encourage and honour innovative digital initiatives at all levels.

The Digital India Awards 2022 acknowledge, inspire and motivate not only Government entities but also startups to attain the vision of a digital India. The awards are but a step towards transforming India into a digitally empowered society where people’s potential is unleashed by effective use of digital governance.

I congratulate you all for your selection in these prestigious services which will give you an opportunity to serve our armed forces. I am told that officers present here today belong to Indian Defence Service of Engineers, Architect cadre and Surveyor cadre of MES.

You have joined the services at a time when India has just entered into the Amrit Kaal and has also assumed G20 Presidency. It is the time when the world is looking towards India for new innovations and solutions.

I am delighted to visit the G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science for Women today. I congratulate all the stakeholders of the Institute for celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year. It is heartening to see a huge gathering of young and spirited women engineers here today.
