The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful record breaking launch of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C9 carrying ten satellites into orbit today.

The President in her congratulatory message to the Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation, Shri G. Madhavan Nair and his team, has said the launch has once again demonstrated the nation's capabilities in space launch technology.
