Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II handed over the Baton to the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil in London on October 29, 2009 to mark the start of relay run which shall take the Baton across the Commonwealth of nations, before it arrives in New Delhi next year in October for the start of the Games.
