The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has congratulated the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) for the successful launch of India’s latest communication satellite GSAT-15.

In a message to Shri A.S. Kiran Kumar, Chairman of ISRO, the President has said, "My heartiest congratulations to you and your entire team at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful launch of India’s latest communication satellite GSAT-15.

The launch of GSAT-15 marks an important landmark in our space programme and would help in strengthening the infrastructure of India’s satellite navigation as well as communication. This achievement demonstrates, yet again, India’s capabilities in space launch technology.
