A Delegation of Cartoonists Calls-on the President

A delegation of Cartoonists based in Delhi called on the President of India today (01.09.2012) to pay their respects and to invite the President to grace a function being planned to mark the first Anniversary of Late Cartoonist P.K.S. Kutty. Many of the Cartoonists presented the President with caricatures drawn by them.

Mr. Kutty was a Cartoonist from Kerala who lived in Delhi most of his life and drew cartoons for several leading Bengali Dailies. He died at the age of 90 on October 22, 2011. He has drawn a large number of cartoons and caricatures of the President as well as other national Leaders over his career of seven decades.

The delegation was led by Mr. Sudheer Nath, (Programme Co-coordinator) of the Kerala Cartoon Academy and included:
