While considering the project on inter-linking of rivers it is necessary to consider all aspects of the project namely, human, ecological and political. The ecological problems can be addressed by making a certain percentage of additional allocation of funds for afforestation and implementing it to ensure preservation of ecological balance. Regarding human and political problems, it is necessary to have a consensus approach of convincing people about the overall benefits of the project for the humanity.
